Believe in a better tomorrow, charity give back program

Believe in a better tomorrow

Giving Back to The Community

I love our community and want to support charities who are working to make Edmonton and our world a better place.

As a thank you for choosing me for your wedding, event planning, and design needs, I want to give you the opportunity to support a local Edmonton charity that’s working on a grassroots level to make a difference in our community.

I will ask you to select one of our partner charities and I will donate 5% of your total planning fees to that charity on your behalf.

I am also committed to not only donating money to these charities, but volunteering and building relationships with them throughout the year.

Since 1997, iHuman Youth Society has engaged Edmonton’s traumatized youth to foster positive personal development, wellbeing and social change. We support over 500 youth between 12 – 24 years of age, 80% who identify as Indigenous.

We provide free access to our services and programs such as iHuman Studios, our daily programmed studio space offering music, fashion, visual arts and performance studios and iSucceed, a leadership, education and employment program targeting youth ages 18-24.

In addition, we also focus on offering programs that help youth with their mental health, to navigate our complex community systems and support programs, and teaches parenting skills to young mothers.

We are not a drop-in centre. Youth actively engage in determining their individualized journey through our resources and guide how we can support them.

The Edmonton and Area Land Trust conserves local natural areas to benefit people and wildlife. They care for these nature sanctuaries with volunteers and educate the public to protect nature for future generations.

Supporting EALT helps care for 2, 243 acres of nature (equivalent to 533 average city blocks) and will add even more natural acres to that total.

Camp Warwa is dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing experiences in the outdoors.

Every experience is intended to encourage and inspire a deeper sense of connection. Connection with other people, with the natural world, and with oneself.

Camp Warwa believes that a residential camping experience can be an important part of a child’s growth and development. A positive camp experience can go a long way to helping youth become more confident, responsible, supportive of others and connected with nature.

Each camper is treated as unique, important and capable, and provided with every opportunity to succeed.

We believe that every child should be able to enjoy a summer camp experience. The Camp Warwa Friendship Fund has been established to provide assistance to families who can’t afford the full cost of giving their child a camp experience.
